We work directly for the owner protecting and insuring value and that the project is built correctly, assuring the owner’s vision through the Architectural drawings is executed in a timely manner. We bid, negotiate, write and manage a project specific, detailed scope of work, developing trade specific construction agreements based on and adhering to a comprehensive owner approved construction budget and construction schedule.
Our Philosophy
A house is built from the ground up. Any mistake will follow construction all the way through a project. Mistakes multiply. Guided by our reputation we are unwilling to accept a mistake. We have multiple teams of proven craftsman, tradesmen and suppliers who understand our brand of perfection. We do not compromise. We build the old fashioned way, installing steel in our concrete footings, foundations and floors. We hand select hardwoods, we use high-grade energy efficient windows and appliances, we use quality longevity proven paint products, we back prime interior and exterior millwork. We join all of our woodwork with biscuits, we dovetail our drawers. Our hardwood floors are sanded and finished to a higher standard. Our doors are made of thicker wood. Our driveways, tennis courts and swimming pools are prepared to last for decades. Our laser-focused management team is experienced, honest and unwavering in our goal, perfection and most of all obtaining our clients’ referral at projects completion.
Leadership
Sean W. Shanahan, founder of The Shanahan Group LLC, has thirty-two years of solid residential home construction experience. We offer a full turnkey construction operation, from the ground breaking to the handshake at project’s completion. Under our service, the construction phase is filled with attentive service and quality craftsmanship at levels rarely seen in today’s construction market. We take pride in managing projects professionally and exceeding our client’s administrative expectations.
Rich Shanahan joined The Shanahan Group after receiving a Bachelors degree in Justice & Law Administration and managing projects for the Hartford Financial Group. Rich has received numerous accounting awards and brings fiscal responsibility to everyday tasks.
